My name is Jessica Brooke and the idea for my company NannyBot was founded on December 27, 2010 in the basement of my parents' house a few days after Christmas. For Christmas my parents got me a retail build me yourself nanny robot. Being a young inventor myself, I thought this retail nanny robot was a joke so I tried to improve and use it as a prototype. The first product that NannyBot sold was on January 1, 2011 to a parent who needed a nanny service but did not have a person willing to babysit. From January to March 2011 I had seven regular customers. I had started customizing the robots to peoples particular needs. I had run out of money by the summer of 2011 and took a break from selling nanny robots.
In August of 2011 the NFL player Aaron Rodgers had obtained a nanny robot from one of my regular customers, and one of his personal friends. He liked it so much he asked to sponsor my company and get a business mogul to help me out with the business side of things. After a few moths of setting up a proper company, on November 21 we officially started selling nanny robots. Aaron Rodgers used his connections and got the word out about my company, which then started a constant stream of customers that hasn't stopped to this day. Having a business partner helped me spend more time on new inventions for the company. Every year, two times a year, I bring out four different and new nanny robot designs. Nannybots customers are very diverse and different, but we are devoted to making the customers life easier.
Now NannyBot is running as best to its ability and every year we continue to better ourselves. Not only are we changing prices according to the economy for the consumers benefit but we are also taking feedback from the customers and using it. We have multiple celebrities sponsoring our company because they believe in our product. NannyBot is also trying to minimize it's carbon footprint and give back to the community. Every year we make a higher profit and upgrade our products to the next level. If it wasn't for my parents, my regular customers, and Aaron Rodgers, NannyBot would not exist.
